Dr. Matt Mumber is a radiation oncologist at Harbin Clinic in Rome, Ga. He has long been a proponent of integrative medicine where the doctor treats the whole person not just the disease. He has published a new book with co-author Heather Reed called “Sustainable Wellness: An Integrative Approach to Transform Your Mind, Body and Spirit.” Here Dr. Mumber talks about the book and what led to its publication. He is also a founder of Cancer Navigators, a nonprofit that helps cancer patients on their journey. He facilitates Sustainable Wellness classes and retreats for Cancer Navigators and has pledged a portion of the profits from the book to the nonprofit.
