Meet Our Staff

Elizabeth Ashley-Pritchett

Elizabeth is a Service Navigator at Cancer Navigators and has a master’s degree in social work from the University of Alabama and a Master’s of Divinity from George W. Truett Seminary at Baylor University. She has been employed as a chaplain, bereavement coordinator, pastor and behavioral health therapist. Elizabeth feels honored to work with the patients at Cancer Navigators and hopes that everyone who comes to Cancer Navigators feels cared for and knows that they are not alone in their journey. Elizabeth is married to Micah and has two daughters, one senior adult dog and a sassy cat.


Powers, DeniseDenise Powers, LCSW

Denise has a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Georgia. She has 35 years’ experience in counseling individuals and families. She uses a variety of approaches to assist cancer patients, caregivers and loved ones in coping with the emotions and changes that cancer brings. Denise has been with Cancer Navigators since 2007. She is married to board member Dan Sweitzer and have they have 2 boys and 1 grandson.


 

Jonna Duke

Jonna is the Office Assistant at Cancer Navigators. She is the friendly, smiling face that greets patients upon arrival and schedules them with navigators depending on their needs. She tracks patients through our network, manages data, and helps with all office and patient needs. Jonna started working at Cancer Navigators in March of 2016. “I am so pleased and happy to have been given the great opportunity to work with a special team in order to provide to cancer patients throughout their journey,” she said.
