Monetary Donations

All of our services are provided to our patients free of charge because of donations from both businesses and individuals.  Without this generosity, we would not be able to keep our doors open and many patients would go without valuable resources.

Remember that you may earmark donations to be used for certain services for patients such as gas cards, wigs, nutritional replacement drinks, or medical supplies.  There are several ways you can donate today:

Transportation is one of the largest barriers for our patients. By donating a gift card to a local gas station or specifying that your monetary donation be used for gas, you can help a struggling patient make it to the doctor’s office to receive life-saving treatment.

Medical Supplies

Many patients rely on the medical supplies that we have at our office to provide all the materials they will need throughout their cancer treatment.  We encourage you to donate any supplies to our office that you no longer need or to buy them new!

Some supplies that have the highest demand include:

• Adult Diapers (all sizes)
• Bed Pads
• Home Medical Equipment (bedside commodes, walkers, wheelchairs, etc.)
• Mastectomy supplies (sports bras, camisoles, bra inserts)
• Bandage supplies
• Liquid nutrition
• Ostomy supplies
• Non-prescription creams/powders
• Tracheotomy care supplies
• Wigs/Caps/Hats

Here at Cancer Navigators, we have a room set up to display the wigs, caps, and hats that we have on hand for women and men.  Having this wig room has brought so much joy to our patients and their families, even if they don’t find something suitable to their style. Providing wigs/caps/and hats has proven to be one of our most popular services, but the room often needs replenishing to continue supplying these to patients! We would more than welcome your new or used wigs/hats/caps that are in good condition or donations that are specified for this service.
