Why Vanessa Orr is Grateful for Cancer Navigators

October 7, 2025 · Uncategorized

This month, Cancer Navigators is highlighting breast cancer patients who wish to share their Cancer Navigators experience. We are grateful for each of them and the inspiration they provide every day. Featured first is Vanessa Orr.

Vanessa shared these words:

Cancer – the one word no one ever wants to hear. The sickness…the depression…the worry about bills, feeding your family and not being able to work.

Thank God for Cancer Navigators! You walk into the office, and a smile greets you along with the words, “How can we help you?”

Immediately, the Cancer Navigators staff gets to work researching resources to pay bills. They provide protein drinks, food pantry vouchers, head wraps, gas cards, and even school supplies for your kids. They always have an ear to listen, and the door is open when I need them.
