Cancer Navigators is Grateful for Community’s Support
Darlington, Model Ruritan, American Legion Riders Post 12 and the City of Adairsville Show Generosity

Cancer Navigators could not carry out its mission without the support of our amazing community. Several groups stepped
forward recently with wonderful donations, and we are so thankful!
Larry Meeks, with the Model Ruritan Club, presented a $500 donation.
The Darlington School Class of 2025 brought back “Light the Lake” this year, a special event to honor those who have fought or are fighting cancer. Cancer Navigators was honored to be one of the beneficiaries. This year’s event raised over $2,300 each for Cancer Navigators and Summit Quest.
American Legion Riders Post 12 Rockmart held their 11th Annual “Cruising For Cancer” motorcycle ride to benefit Cancer Navigators. This year’s benefit raised $5,000 that will help 100 Polk County cancer patients.
This year’s City of Adairsville Great Locomotive Chase 5K raised $3,000 for Cancer Navigators and will help 60 cancer patients during their cancer journeys. The late Buddy Bagley, Adairsville resident and council member, was a tremendous supporter of Cancer Navigators and the city continues their support in his honor.
