Creative Journaling Program Continues in 2024
Cancer patients and survivors are invited to participate in a free, creative journaling program sponsored by Atrium Health Floyd Arts in Medicine and Cancer Navigators.
The purpose of this program is to inspire the creativity and expression of participants through the arts, and to improve well-being and bring positive social interaction to cancer patients sharing their journey. Participants can lower stress levels, relieve anxiety, improve moods, strengthen relationships, and feel a sense of accomplishment when they learn to express themselves through art.
Registration is free, and there are 12 spots available each month for patients or survivors who would like to participate.
Scheduled dates are Jan. 1, Feb. 20, March 19, April 16, May 21, June 18, July 16, Aug. 20, Sept. 17, Oct. 15, Nov. 19, Dec. 17. Each session will take place from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the third-floor conference room of the Tony E. Warren Cancer Center, 255. W. Fifth St., in Rome.
