In-Person Run, Daisy Drop Scheduled for April 30
Run, walk, bike (you choose!) anytime, anywhere and raise money for cancer patients in northwest Georgia and northeast Alabama. Support cancer patients in our community by participating in the Cancer Navigators’ Virtual Race or In-Person Fun Run/Walk! For the virtual race, you can choose your exercise, location, distance, and time and can complete at once or in increments.

Virtual Race Options Include:
5K Registration – Receive t-shirt and medal ($30)
5K Registration for 2020/2021/2022 Racers – Receive t-shirt, medal, and $5 discount ($25)
5K Team Registration – Receive t-shirt, medal, and $5 discount if registering as a group of 5 or more ($25)
1 Mile Fun Run – Receive medal only ($15)
In-Person Fun Run/Walk:
1 Mile Fun Run/Walk – Receive medal only ($15) – Happening on Sunday, April 30 at 2 p.m. at the Barron Stadium Track in Rome prior to Cancer Navigators’ Annual Daisy Drop.
On April 30, Cancer Navigators will also hold its annual Daisy Drop on the Chief John Ross Memorial Bridge at the Town Green at 3 p.m. Cancer Navigators staff will be onsite handing out complimentary daisies that attendees can drop into the river and pay tribute to loved ones affected by cancer.
Get exercise and fresh air, and know you are making a difference in the life of a cancer patient! Every $25 raised purchases a gas card or bus voucher to assist cancer patients with transportation to lifesaving treatment.
All virtual race registrants are invited to participate in the In-Person Fun Run/Walk on April 30 at no additional charge. If inclement weather on Sunday, April 30, the In-Person Fun Run/Walk will be canceled, and registrants can complete virtually at their convenience.
