Briggs Equipment Supports Cancer Patients
There are huge smiles behind the masks thanks to Briggs Equipment’s support of Cancer Navigators! Because of their generosity, hundreds of cancer patients in our region will receive assistance with transportation to treatments, liquid nutrition and counseling. We appreciate Briggs Equipment Georgia Region General Manager Dane Power for traveling to Rome to visit the Cancer Navigators office and learn more about our mission. We are grateful to Briggs Equipment employee, David Pinkard, and the American Legion Riders Post 12 in Rockmart for their continued dedication to Cancer Navigators, for not letting the pandemic stop them from raising money for those affected by cancer, and for securing this gift!
Donations to Cancer Navigators have a tremendous impact on the lives of cancer patients in our area and enhance quality of life, provide hope, and ensure no one journeys through cancer alone. Transportation, liquid nutrition, and counseling are currently patients’ greatest needs; here is how donations can provide relief to patients and their caregivers and allow them to overcome barriers to cancer care:
- $25 – Provides 1 cancer patient assistance with transportation to life-saving treatment.
- $100 – Provides liquid nutrition for 10 cancer patients struggling to eat.
- $250 – Assists 5 cancer patients in coping with the emotions and changes that cancer brings by providing a complimentary one-hour session with our counselor.
