Community’s Generosity Boosts Cancer Navigators Wreath Auction
Supporters of Cancer Navigators helped the nonprofit agency raise more than $7,000 during its annual Christmas wreath auction, which ended Nov. 30. Money raised through the nearly monthlong auction will help Cancer Navigators continue its mission to help provide support for local cancer patients.
“We are thankful for the continued support we receive from the community,” said Sarah Husser, Fundraising and Outreach Coordinator for Cancer Navigators. “Cancer patients in our area will benefit from this generosity. Without your help, we would be hard-pressed to continue to provide the resources to those who need them.”
The wreaths were displayed in the Harbin Clinic Tony E. Warren, M.D. Cancer Center, The Breast Center at Floyd, Floyd Medical Center Wright Art Gallery, Polk Medical Center, Heritage First Bank, River City Bank and Living & Giving. Five wreaths were also auctioned off on Facebook.
