Form Your Crew for the Cast Off Against Cancer Benefit
It’s time to form a crew for this year’s Cast Off Against Cancer benefit. The kick-off event for teams will be held March 2.
One-hundred percent of all proceeds raised remain in our community to help Cancer Navigators support the financial, emotional and physical needs of cancer patients.
How to Participate
- Assemble a crew of eight to 15 people with a goal of raising at least $1,000 per crew. The deadline to register a crew is April 3.
- Complete and return the team registration form by either emailing it to Scharla Battle or by bringing it to the kick-off event.
- Come to the kickoff event at Floyd Medical Center in the Stuenkel Conference Center on March 2 from 5 – 6:30 p.m. to get the details about participating.
Each crew will receive a T-shirt for all their members when they register.
Crews will be competing for the honor of Most Money Raised and Most Spirit. The team that raises the most money will be treated to a river cruise on the Roman Holiday, complete with food, drinks and music.
The Cast Off Against Cancer community event will be held June 4 at Heritage Park from 2 – 4 p.m. and coincides with National Cancer Survivor Day.
