Motorcycle Ride Raises More than $12,000

The seventh annual Bagley Motorcycle Ride is being hailed as a huge success. The July 16 event raised $12,150 to support Cancer Navigators.
In past years, Buddy Bagley organized the ride in Adairsville in memory of his wife Darlene Bagley, but this year he did it memory of several cancer patients.
The donation will help provide cancer patients with nutrition supplements, financial assistance, counseling, and gas money to get back and forth to their treatments. “Mr. Bagley has been a huge supporter of Cancer Navigators throughout the years, and we’re very lucky to have him in our corner,” said Scharla Battle, Community Outreach Manager for Cancer Navigators.
Over the past year, Cancer Navigators has provided assistance to 51 patients within the Bartow County area. Thirteen of those were from Adairsville.
